Funckarma
Don and Roel Funcken are probably one of the most prolific electronic music duos in europe if not the world. Together they have a long history in electronic music, working together with a long string of international artists and in various projects and musical fields, such as Shadowhuntaz (Funckarma + Non Genetic), Quench and, of course, the Funckarma moniker. They have remixed a slew of artists such as Comtron, Sandor Caron, Funkstörung and Gridlock, and released a grip of albums and singles on various labels (Skam, DUB, Neo Ouija, n5MD, U-cover). Funckarma is mad electronics influenced by dub, hip-hop and jazz, and we think they are Holland’s best kept secret.

Aquí esta por fin, la criatura que nos ha tenido de parto desde principios de año, nuestra recopilación mas internacional hasta la fecha.
17 artistas de diferentes partes del globo nos ceden los mejores momentos de su electrónica más personal, hecha con mucho amor, sin concesiones comerciales (dios nos libre) y bajo el certero título “Popular is Wrong”.
Y es que el nivel de la selección de artistas que hemos conseguido juntar aquí, no se ha visto ni se verá por mucho tiempo en en estos lares digitales olvidados por los medios.
Aquí se juntan, entre otros, gurus de la electronica “sin acento” de la talla de Funckarma y Bichi, los lores de nuestra electrónica mas cercana como Eedl, Sr.Aye, Az-Rotator, Rec_Overflow, Tupperwear, Crisopa, Noisome, Metropol, Boris Divider y nuevos valores de la escena europea como Huron, FMcontrol, Pleq, Burdeos, Sytrjv y Sumire.

Such a roster of artists with the level we have managed to get together… has not and won’t be seen for a long time in these digital realms which have been long forgotten by the media.
